Mercmaster™ III Induction Luminaire
The Mercmaster™ III Induction Luminaire has been expanded to include 165 Watt. This version produces the equivalent lumen output of a 100 Watt high pressure sodium luminaire. Unlike the competition, our 165 Watt has four (4) available optics; globe, Type II refractor, Type V refractor and reflector/lens. This gives flexibility to effectively illuminate an area that may require more controlled distribution than a globe provides.

“QL Induction” technology has taken our Mercmaster III™ to the next level because the system is rated for 100,000 hours. At the end of 60,000 hours, you should still have 70% of your total light output. Current lamp types (fluorescent, pulse start and high pressure sodium) have a life expectancy of 10,000 to 24,000 hours.

The 165 Watt luminaire ships complete with the discharge vessel, power coupler and high frequency generator and optic (globe, refractor or reflector/lens).

IEC, Restricted Breathing (AEx nR) Version of Mercmaster™ III Zone 2
Our current Mercmaster™ III Zone 2 Luminaire is rated for non-sparking, restricted breathing (AEx nA nR) and is factory sealed. By removing the non-sparking (nA) standard which is the factory seal, we now offer another version with lower “T” numbers (AEx nR). The AEx nR puts the responsibility on the installer to provide a seal in the wire way. One of the key features is how cool this series operates. The Mercmaster™ III Zone 2 AEx nR version can be ordered by adding a “ZB” suffix.

Our Mercmaster™ III is the most featured enclosed and gasketed luminaire on the market. It is truly a “global” luminaire with three (3) methods of protection to choose from.
