ASR Series Switched Receptacle   The new Appleton Switched Receptacle is designed to prevent arcs in adverse locations. This compact product is offered in a non metallic corrosion resistant design for 30 and 60 Amp requirements. The switched receptacle is designed for safety. A mechanical interlock prohibits plug removal under load. Plug cannot be withdrawn unless switch is moved to “Off” position. If the plug is engaged and the switch is in the “On” position, the user cannot pull the plug out. Conversely, if the switch is off and no plug is present, the receptacle cannot be energized.
